Abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, recovery is very good, electrical conductivity is very poor. Polyester fiber temperature resistance is generally 130---150 °C, the product has the advantages of ordinary felt filter cloth, and wear resistance is very good, with a high cost performance and become a large variety of felt filter material.

Heat resistance: 120 °C, elongation at break: 20-50, breaking strength (g/d): 438, melting point (°C): 238·240, melting point (°C): 255-260. Specific gravity: 1.38. Filtration performance: polyester staple fiber filter cloth raw material structure is short and hairy, the woven fabric is dense, the particle retention is good, but the peelability and air permeability are poor. The strength and wear resistance, water leakage is not as good as polyester long fiber filter cloth.
